It is well known that there is fraud in the SSDI system. In fact there are numerous individuals who withhold or make up information to collect government benefits they are not entitled to receive. The U.S. Senate concluded after an investigation that one quarter of all disability insurance claims decisions were flawed or improperly and full of other defects that may result in rewarding non-disabled persons government benefits.
